Agility Rush
A downloadable game
Hi! I am a high schooler looking towards becoming a game developer. As a start, I am using the Libgdx framework to create an Android game. The result of that is this very game! I hope you enjoy my first ever game.
Welcome to Agility Rush! It is the new name of this game and in my opinion, it's much better than the original name: "Basic Libgdx Game".
How do you play?
The game idea is very similar. It should be familiar to you if you have ever played the Impossible Game, Geometry Dash, or even the Google Dinosaur game. What you have on the left-hand side is the player, you. You have a move set of 3 possible actions that you can do:
- You can "jump" by dragging up on the screen.
- You can "slide" by dragging down on the screen.
- Or You can "fall" back down to the ground if you were already airborne when the screen was touched again.
There are box-shaped obstacles coming towards you from the right, and your goal is to make it through them with the aid of your move set, your possible actions. The obstacles require you to jump and slide over them, where if you fail to do so, you lose the game. It's a very simple concept! There also game sound effects and music settings that you can change and customize to your heart's content in the settings screen. Settings include music settings, a selection of music soundtracks for while you play, and sound settings!
